Peek inside the offices of Flower Films, the production company of Drew Barrymore.
Drew Barrymore enlisted interior designer Ruthie Sommers to realize her vision for an un-office: a chic working environment that reflects each partner's personality.
An unmarked red door, adorned with an antique knocker, provides the front entryway to the office.
The office incorporates an eclectic collection of styles and artifacts. As Sommers says, "Drew decorates intuitively."
A portrait of John Barrymore, Drew's grandfather, oversees a bookcase tableau.
Throughout the office, shelves offer quirky vignettes.
"I'm not a paper-pusher," Barrymore says. "My goal is to be creative, which is why my work space is playful and full of images that are thought-provoking and inspire me."
When asked about her favorite piece in the office, Barrymore says, "I believe you can combine anything. I feel there are no rules."
"You can never, never have too many books," Barrymore says.
To contrast the oak desk and leather armchair in Flower Films partner Nancy Juvonen's office, Sommers gave the vanilla drapes a crimson border.
