The New Kardashian Dream House

The Kardashian kids got one heck of a stocking stuffer last Christmas! "We were done with our gifts, and my mom, Kris, and stepdad, Bruce [Jenner], came in and said they had one more gift, but everyone needed to get into the car," Kim Kardashian, who stars with her family in E!'s Keeping Up With the Kardashians, tells Life & Style. "We all got in the car and thought it was going to be a horse, because my sister had gotten a horse the year before and we'd had to drive to a stable. But then we pulled up to the driveway of this house in Hidden Hills, Calif., and my mom just threw the keys at us. We were like, 'No way!'"

"They were so excited when they saw the house," says Kris, here with Khloe, Kourtney and Kim (her daughters from her previous marriage, to Robert Kardashian).

Needless to say, Kim and her siblings -- Kourtney, 30, Khloe, 24, Rob, 22, Kendall, 13, and Kylie, 11 -- decided this particular present didn't need returning. "The house was empty, and we all ran in," recalls Kim, 28. "We were so excited." And Kris was even more overjoyed to see the expressions on her children's faces. She had first looked at the house in early 2008.

"My two youngest were with me the day I looked at it," Kris, 53, tells Life & Style. "After that, they were writing me letters, screen-grabbing pictures on the Internet, and every night I would go to sleep and it would be, 'Please, Mommy, please. I'll do anything.' I'm thinking, These kids are crazy. Then I didn't talk about it anymore."

Bigger is better

But she kept thinking about it and finally decided to splurge and make her kids' dreams come true. And the family couldn't be happier. Their new house -- which viewers may see more of on the show next season -- is a whopping 9,000 square feet, twice the size of their previous home (where Khloe is staying until it's sold) right down the road.

"My mom definitely needed more space," says Kim. Adds Kris, "It's complete chaos at all times. You never know who's running in and out. We might as well have revolving doors. This is the place where everyone gathers." Kris wouldn't have it any other way. "That's what I wanted when I was growing up," she says. "My mom worked, so my house couldn't be a place where everybody gathered, because everyone was gone a lot," she remembers. "I wanted to have a huge family, and I wanted a house where everyone hung out. That's what this is."

As always, Kris is counting her blessings. "People say, 'Ugh, my kids are such a headache.' Well, sometimes mine are too," she says. "But you get through the tough times. We're all there for one another all the time."

I think is great they have a beautiful home, a little large but is beautiful. Yes they worked hard for it believe or not and they deserve it, for keeping us enjoying TV everyweek. Keep it up, by the way the baby will be a great addition and please keep lipstick light tones on the little one, although I know they do this as play time in a way.

Bruece Jenner... Put your foot down and don't let your wife "pimp out" your two youngest daughters as she has done to the first three. There is/was nothing you could do about Chloe, Kim and Courtney... They're not your daughters and the cement was already laid before you came into the picture, but for Godsakes, don't let your wife ***** OUT YOUR two youngest!!!1 Do something!!!

I hope you are all happy. Most of the country is downsizing and you are upsizing. It must be nice to be rich and famous. Please just be careful of raising your two youngest ones. They are receiving a DIFFERENT upbringing that you older children and I fear they DON't even have a childhood. How very sad.

Life is sooo Beautiful even if one's dream's do not come true.i watch your show always(/o\) .my home is small and its ok with me......with my daughter and her family having to live with me just makes it smaller.i do pray someday my daughter and her family will move out.i only let my daughter stay because i love my grandkids Robert and katey.love daughter very much,but with her having to live with me has torn us apart a bit.i have a 2 and 3 year old gkids so hard to b a true grandma with ur gkids living with u. alot of stress.being 61 is hard also.makes me and my heart smile when i watch ur show and all of the woman r getting along and being kind and caring and loving.Love is the only thing in one's life that is most beautiful gift in r life we will ever receive r give(^:^)my dream home is onestory,,hubby had bad knees........kinda big kitchen big family room big jet tub .be happy and blessed in ur new dream home all the BBBeautiful Kardashian.

i'm a 61 year old woman...i'am so very happy that you got ur dream house.i live in a small 3 bedroom and my daughter and family live with hubby and me. i sleep in a small twin bed in my small living room.for me,it is a dream of ever having a dream house.even tho my home isn't a dream...makes my soul and spirit smile to know some people do truely live some of there dream's. god bless you all and may r lord bless ur family with a healthy mind,body,soul and spirit.all the woman in the family r so beautiful .men r very handsome.

I'm amazed these ADULTS are still in the home: Kim, 28, Kourtney, 30, Khloe, 24, Rob, 22.... wow. But it is probably a good idea if they are not marrying. It would be hard to have a reality show and have to film at what, five different places of residence?

Tone down the make up on those two youngest children, yes I said children. Remember you're the parents. There are rules to follow. The one with the red lipstick looks like she's 30 years old. Bruce you're their father, say something.....
