Window Facelift

There are many things that you can do to an existing window area to dress it up.


By adding some molding, you can add some architectural detail to the window area. When prepping molding, measure very carefully and make sure to cut the edges at a 45-degree angle so the edges can line up and make a 90- degree angle at the corners. Once in place, attach the molding with simple finishing nails. Any tiny holes or gaps should be filled with spackle and painted.


Window film functions as both a great decoration element and a privacy film. Window film is very similar to contact paper. Find a pattern you like, and cut to size with a straight edge.


Next, peel off the backing of the window film.


Carefully apply the film to the window, using a squeegee press out any air bubbles.





Next, we will add some curtains. First, screw in curtain rod mounts to the wall.


Place your curtain on the rod, and place rod on mounts.


Accent the space with additional curtain panels. Your window area has been transformed enjoy!
